Someone told me The Leopard Man is also worth seeing, any thoughts? I was planning on seeing Cat People next but I'll go for Night of the Demon instead assuming no one else borrows them. I did get them on DVD, and will be watching The Body Snatcher in the next couple of days. I have SO many rentals/library borrows lying around that I have to get through them before having to return them. I have until Thursday for Body Snatcher. It's comforting to hear you love it . I don't think the atmosphere and style are as strong as other noirs, but much of what makes it classic has to do with the performances and the story itself. I promise it does improve on repeated viewings. I'm planning on seeing Tourneur's horror films, since I've never seen any. His work seems to be more in the vein of the horror I prefer, dark and moody and full of subtext. This involving Bronte only makes it that much more interesting to me! Out of the Past is odd.
